270221 JOINED BOTH DUOLINGO PLUS https://www.duolingo.com After my FREE 14 day trial period ran out a couple of days back...; I decided to join Duolingo Plus on a monthly 'subscription' basis; the subscription is controlled through my Apple app. a/c. The cost is: £12.49 a month. NOTE : It is actually far cheaper to pay the annual membership of: £70-80...; if you are going to use the app., regularly. However, because I wasn't too sure if I would 'stick' with learning for a full year; therefore, I decided to try out monthly membership, first; just to see if I would quit/or, not...; if not, then, I will mostly likely switch to paying yearly, instead. 270221 JOINED FLUENTU https://www.fluentu.com Today, I decided to join FluentU...; once, again, it is a FREE 14 day trial membership.   00.05 AM STILL STUDYING AT DUOLINGO.COM/LEADERBOARD POSITION: 1ST -  https://www.duolingo.com So far to date, and, for each of the last 14 days, I've maintained my topmost position on the studying leader board of 1st place. NOTE : I had signed up for a FREE 14 day trial of Duolingo; and, today, that FREE trial period ends; so, that means they are about to charge my card £12.49 monthly; so, I'm going to have to make sure that there are sufficient funds in my a/c. to cover that.

Duolingo, still studying.../FluentU, struggling to cancel...!

FRI 190321 STILL STUDYING AT DUOLINGO So far to date, I've continued studying at Duolingo...maintaining a 39 day -as yet, 'unbroken'- streak.  I've also managed to maintain being 1st place on the leaderboard. However, I also come to realise more and more; that maintaining a high leaderboard count; doesn't neccesarily mean you've been managing to make progress along the course...that is, learning 'new' words. So, one could, in fact, totally 'ignore' being placed in the leaderboard, altogether; and, still be managing to make progress by having learned 'new' words. NOTE: I believe that the Duolingo yearly subscription is due on the 250321...and, that will be for £78.00 (approximately). ----- FLUENTU, STRUGGLING TO CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION Unfortunately, I made a very big mistakes by subscribing to FluentU...for a yearly subscription fee: £229.99; when, honestly, all I wanted to do was just take a FREE 14 day trial.
